For restaurants
A restaurant feedback system guests use before they leave
Put a QR code on every table, bill folder and takeaway bag. Guests rate the food, the service and the person who served them in under a minute, and you see it on your phone while they are still in the building.

Why restaurant feedback is hard to get right
Problems surface too late
A cold main course or a long wait usually shows up days later as a public review. By then the guest is gone and you cannot put it right.
You cannot see who served whom
Most feedback says "the service was slow" without saying which shift or which server. Coaching your team needs names and patterns.
Outlets drift apart
With two or more branches, comment cards and notebooks make it impossible to compare one kitchen or front-of-house team with another.
How restaurants use Custovra
Table and bill folder QR codes
Each outlet gets its own form, link and QR code. Print it on table tents, menus and the bill folder so guests can respond while they wait for change.
Rate the server, not just the meal
Add an employee field so guests pick who served them and rate friendliness, knowledge and communication. See the results per person on the employee ratings page.
A private place for complaints
A separate complaint form gives unhappy guests somewhere to go that is not a public review site, and email alerts tell the manager on duty straight away.
Compare branches and weeks
Reports show average ratings, trends and response counts per outlet, so you can tell whether a new menu or a staffing change actually moved the numbers.
Questions that work on a restaurant feedback form
Keep the form to three to six questions. Guests answer on a phone, often with one hand. For a longer list, see our guide to restaurant feedback questions.
- Overall, how would you rate your visit today? (1 to 5 stars)
- How was the food? (1 to 5 stars)
- Who looked after you today? (employee field with ratings)
- Did anything not meet your expectations? (optional comment)
- How likely are you to come back? (1 to 5 stars)
- Can we contact you about your feedback? (optional phone or email)

Where to put your QR codes
- Table tents or stickers on each table, facing the seat rather than the aisle
- Inside the bill folder or on the printed bill, where guests look while they wait
- On takeaway bags and delivery packaging, for guests you never see
- Near the exit or the cashier, with a short line like "Tell us how we did"
- On the back page of the menu for longer visits

Restaurants: frequently asked questions
How do restaurant guests leave feedback with Custovra?
They scan the QR code on the table, bill folder or packaging with their phone camera. The form opens in the browser, they answer a few questions and submit. No app or account is needed.
Can I collect feedback for each of my restaurant branches separately?
Yes. Create one form per outlet. Each form has its own link and QR code, and reports let you compare outlets side by side. The number of forms depends on your plan.
Can guests rate the waiter or waitress who served them?
Yes. Add an employee field to the form and list your team. Guests choose who served them and rate them on friendliness, knowledge and communication. This is part of employee management, which is included on selected plans.
Will I know about a complaint while the guest is still here?
If you turn on email notifications for the form, every new response is emailed to the address you choose, so a manager can read it during service and go to the table.
Does Custovra replace Google or TripAdvisor reviews?
No. Custovra collects private feedback that only you see, so you can fix problems and thank your team. Public review sites are separate. If you invite guests to post a public review, invite every guest, not only the happy ones.
